Shipping

For the best wedding bouquet preservation results, flowers should be shipped as soon as possible after your wedding. Ideally, the bouquet should be sent the day after the event.

For example, if your wedding takes place on Saturday, the bouquet should be shipped on Monday using the fastest available delivery service (1–2 day shipping).

Before shipping, you can check the estimated delivery time and cost. Shipping flowers to California 92618 may range from approximately $170 to $500, depending on the carrier and distance.

For most clients, we recommend purchasing our prepaid 1–2 day shipping label. This option is often simpler, faster, and more affordable than arranging expedited shipping directly through the carrier yourself. After booking, we will send detailed packing instructions so you can safely prepare your flowers for transit.

If you are local to Irvine, California, a drop-off appointment may be available. Please note that finished orders are not available for local pick-up and will be shipped once completed.

For the highest quality flower preservation, it is very important that the flowers arrive fresh. We use techniques that help maintain the natural beauty of the bouquet during preservation, but if the flowers have already dried or significantly wilted, the process may take longer and results may vary.

Please make sure to track your shipment using the provided tracking number. In the event of delivery delays or shipping issues, we cannot be responsible for problems caused during transportation.

We recommend using UPS or FedEx, as they typically provide the most reliable service for shipping wedding bouquets.

The final result of your bouquet preservation will always depend on the condition of the flowers when they arrive. Detailed packing and shipping instructions will be provided after booking. Clients are responsible for carefully following these instructions. If flowers arrive damaged due to improper packing or shipping, we may not be able to complete the preservation.

About the Preservation Process

Before shipping your flowers, please let us know which items you would like to order.

It is important to understand that an entire bouquet cannot usually be preserved in full. During the wedding flower preservation process, we carefully select the freshest and most suitable flowers and greenery from the bouquet based on the items ordered.

Only the flowers that are best suited for the artwork will be used. We do not return unused flowers.

For example, if you choose a 12×8 resin tray, and your bouquet contains many flowers, we will select the best blooms for that specific design. Any flowers that are not used for the piece will be discarded.

If you would like to preserve your bouquet as close to its original appearance as possible, we strongly recommend choosing a Shadow Box or a Resin Block.

Certain flowers — such as calla lilies, dahlias, carnations, protea, and other large tropical blooms — are best preserved using 3D bouquet preservation formats.

These formats help maintain the natural structure and three-dimensional beauty of the flowers. Pressed flower preservation is also possible, but please keep in mind that flowers will be flattened and may look very different from their original shape.

To improve color appearance, we offer an optional Color Correction service (see the Color Correction page for details).

If the flowers are no longer fresh, it may still be possible to work with separate petals or greenery. In some cases, damaged or wilted flowers can be replaced for an additional fee.

When working with resin flower preservation, very small air bubbles may occasionally appear in the piece. Each item is handcrafted, not machine-produced, and we always work carefully to minimize imperfections.

Shadow box frames may occasionally contain small traces of silica gel or tiny flower fragments, which can occur during the drying and delivery process.

The full bouquet preservation process typically takes approximately 30–35 weeks, depending on the flower types and the wedding season. In some cases, the timeline may vary slightly. We also offer Expedited Flower Preservation, allowing clients to receive their preserved bouquet faster for an additional fee.

Each project is created using our experience, artistic vision, and preservation expertise. While we always consider client preferences, the final design decisions are based on what will produce the most beautiful and durable result.

Natural Color Changes During Preservation

During the drying process, the color of flowers may naturally change. For example:

  • fresh red roses may become deep burgundy
  • white roses may develop a light ivory or yellow tone
  • dusty pink roses may appear more muted or gray
  • burgundy ranunculus may darken significantly

Best Preservation Format Guidance

Different bouquet preservation formats work better for different flowers and design goals.

Best for 3D formats

  • calla lilies
  • dahlias
  • carnations
  • protea
  • large tropical blooms

These flowers are often best preserved in Shadow Boxes or Resin Blocks because they maintain more of their natural structure.

Important preservation notes

  • pressed flower preservation flattens flowers
  • color changes during drying are natural
  • Color Correction can improve appearance
  • fresh flowers usually give the best final result

Frequently Asked Questions

When should I ship my wedding bouquet for preservation?

For the best wedding bouquet preservation results, flowers should be shipped as soon as possible after the wedding. Ideally, the bouquet should be sent the next business day. For example, if your wedding takes place on Saturday, the bouquet should be shipped on Monday using a fast 1–2 day delivery service.

Can I drop off my bouquet in person?

Yes. If you are located in Irvine or Orange County, you may schedule a local drop-off appointment for your bouquet. Los Angeles clients may also use our Los Angeles partner drop-off option. Please note that our studio works by appointment only, and finished orders are not available for local pick-up.

What shipping service should I use to send my bouquet?

We recommend using UPS or FedEx, as they typically provide the most reliable and fastest delivery for shipping flowers. Choosing a 1–2 day delivery option helps ensure the flowers arrive in the best possible condition for flower preservation.

For most clients, we recommend purchasing our prepaid 1–2 day shipping label. This option is often simpler, faster, and more affordable than arranging expedited shipping directly through the carrier yourself. After booking, we will send detailed packing instructions so you can safely prepare your flowers for transit.

Can the entire bouquet be preserved?

Yes, if your flowers arrive fresh and in good condition, we can often preserve most or even the entire wedding bouquet. In professional wedding bouquet preservation, the flowers are usually arranged across one or several custom pieces depending on the size of the bouquet and the items you choose. This allows us to preserve a larger portion of your wedding flowers while maintaining the most beautiful design. For example, the flowers may be distributed into multiple preservation items, such as resin blocks, frames, trays, or other keepsakes. Another option is creating a large custom piece, such as a preserved flower coffee table or a large display artwork, which allows us to preserve many flowers from the bouquet in one statement piece. The final arrangement always depends on the condition, size, and type of flowers, and our goal is to preserve as much of your bouquet as possible while achieving the best final result.

Will the color of my flowers change during preservation?

Yes. Natural color changes may occur during the drying process. For example, white flowers may develop a warmer tone and red flowers may darken. To improve the appearance of preserved flowers, we offer an optional Color Correction service.

How long does the bouquet preservation process take?

The full flower preservation process typically takes around 30–35 weeks, depending on the flower types, preservation method, and the wedding season. Because the drying process must happen naturally, it cannot be rushed without affecting the final quality. We also offer Expedited Flower Preservation, which allows you to speed up the process for an additional fee.
