    Shipping

Shipping your flowers from San Diego

Shipping out of San Diego is cheap, so most clients here send a prepaid label. We work the cost out from your ZIP code, and it usually lands well below counter rates. If you would rather drive down, dropping off at our Irvine studio is free. You can also buy your own label and ship it yourself.

Shipping out of San Diego is cheap, which is why most couples here simply send a prepaid label rather than driving anywhere. The cost is worked out from your ZIP code and usually lands well under what a shipping store would charge at the counter.

Before you pack, give the bouquet the best start you can. Get the stems into water once the formal photos are finished and keep the flowers out of the sun. Beach ceremonies in Coronado, La Jolla or Del Mar mean salt air and wind, so bring the bouquet indoors rather than leaving it out through the reception.

Our step-by-step packing guide covers the rest — keeping the box dry, cushioning the blooms, and getting it ready to travel. Overnight and 1–2 day service is simple from North Park, Carlsbad or anywhere in the county. If you would rather drive up, drop-off at our Irvine studio is free. Aim for about two days after the wedding.

    Why us

Why San Diego clients choose Florals Memories

    • Flowers that still look like your flowers

Color, shape and presence hold instead of fading to brown and brittle. Roses, peonies, orchids and hydrangea each dry differently. Across 5,000+ preserved bouquets we have learned what each one needs. That is what keeps a bouquet beautiful years from now.

    • Made to be displayed

Every piece is designed to be seen. Choose a pressed frame for the wall, a resin block or tray for the shelf, or a shadow box with real depth. Each one is finished as art for your home.

    • You will always know where your flowers are

You hear from us as your piece moves through each stage. Nothing goes quiet after you book. Questions are answered quickly, by the specialists making your keepsake.

    • Designed around your flowers

Your keepsake is built around your bouquet, not a template. Pick the format, the frame or resin style, and the layout — floating garden, corner garden, diagonal cascade and more. Add an invitation or a photo if you want one. We guide every choice and confirm the design with you.

    Questions

    Frequently asked questions

Do I need a local flower preservation studio in San Diego?

No. Our studio is in Irvine and we work with clients across the state. Most San Diego clients send their flowers in with a prepaid label, and we return the finished keepsake by shipping. Dropping off in Irvine is free if you would rather drive.

Do you preserve bridal bouquets and other wedding flowers from San Diego?

Yes. Bridal flower preservation is one of our core services. We preserve bridal bouquets, bridesmaid bouquets, boutonnieres, and other wedding florals from San Diego weddings and elopements, turning them into pressed frames, resin keepsakes, shadow boxes, and more.

How soon should I ship my wedding bouquet from San Diego after the event?

Ship as soon as you reasonably can after the event—ideally within about two days. Keep stems in water until packing, then pack the flowers dry according to our shipping guide so they travel in the best condition.

How long does flower preservation take?

Flower preservation typically takes about 30–35 weeks from the time we receive your flowers to when we ship your finished keepsake. If you need it sooner, expedited flower preservation (about 8 weeks) is available for $120 when capacity allows.

Can I get both pressed flower frames and resin keepsakes from one bouquet?

Yes. Many clients choose both pressed flower frames and resin keepsakes from a single bouquet. We advise on how to split blooms based on bouquet size, bloom types, and the condition of the flowers when they arrive.

Do you serve La Jolla, North Park, and other San Diego communities?

Yes. We serve San Diego and the surrounding area, including La Jolla, North Park, and nearby communities. Flower preservation works the same way across the state: you either bring your flowers to us or send them in with a prepaid label.

What if my flowers arrive damaged after shipping?

Flower condition after shipping can vary with packing and transit. Follow our packing guide carefully before you ship. If anything looks off when your flowers arrive at our studio, contact us and we will walk you through the options available for your order.

Do you only preserve wedding flowers, or other occasions too?

No. Memorial arrangements, anniversary florals, graduation bouquets, and other meaningful flowers are welcome for pressed and resin preservation.
